Cast Resin Production Supervisor
We are seeking a front-line leader who is passionate about leading change to join our great team. This role involves leading a team of 20+ hourly employees to meet demanding customer requirements by improving all aspects of the value stream with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This position requires strong leadership and management skills, a bias for action, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations in the cast resin production area to ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, and adherence to demanding production schedules
- Supervise and coordinate activities, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to meet production targets
- Train new employees on safety protocols, standard work, and machine operation within the cast resin manufacturing process
- Collaborate with production planning to develop and adjust production schedules based on order volumes, machine availability, and staffing levels
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies within the production line
- Help to curate and drive a world-class culture making CK Composites the employer of choice among top talent in Western Pennsylvania
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3-years of front-line leadership and management experience in a manufacturing environment (military service will be seriously considered in lieu of manufacturing experience)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarization with basic ERP system software systems is valuable
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field is a plus
- Candidates with military service and/or experience as a student-athlete are strongly encouraged to apply

Cast Resin Team Member
We are seeking front-line manufacturing team members to produce specialty components supporting the expansion of the electrical grid. Our production line focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Hands on training provided to train in all phases of this process including mixing, casting, and finishing. CK Composites is seeking a Cast Resin Team Member to mix, cast and or finish components according to customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Mix resins according to procedures for each product
- Hand pour resin mixture into molds for specialty product demands
- Create high pressure gel components through the detailed process of injection molding
- Perform a variety of finishing processes for each specialty component according to customers specifications
- Perform your position with the highest levels of safety, quality, and adherence to demanding production schedules
- Understand safety protocols, standard work, and machine operation within the cast resin manufacturing
- Help to curate and drive a world-class culture making CK Composites the employer of choice among top talent in Western Pennsylvania

Quality Control Technician
We are seeking front-line manufacturing team members to produce specialty components supporting the expansion of the electrical grid. Our production line focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Hands on training provided to train in all phases of this process including mixing, casting, and finishing. CK Composites is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform electrical and mechanical testing for a variety of components.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections at various stages of production
- Develop and maintain inspection and testing reports
- Ensure compliance as well as company standards and specifications
- Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
- Prepare and maintain test data for review
- Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Solid understanding of test equipment and desired specifications
- Minimum of one year of inspection and/or production experience
- Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 65 pounds repeatedly
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Machinist
We are seeking front-line manufacturing team members to produce specialty components supporting the expansion of the electrical grid. Our production line focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Hands on training provided to train in all phases of this process including mixing, casting, and finishing. CK Composites is seeking a experienced Machinist in the Woodshop.
Responsibilities:
- Create parts to meet all required specifications through analysis of customer specification charts, drawings, and samples to gain a thorough understanding of requirements
- Develop a plan of action to manufacture parts according to specifications
- Set up equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing plan
- Operate equipment to carry out each step correctly
- Inspect finished parts for flaws and defects
- Monitor the production process and intervening when problems arise
- Measure and mark raw materials needed to manufacture parts
- Maintain equipment and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) software and machinery used for computer-aided manufacturing
- Knowledge of how to operate grinders, lathes and milling machines
- Knowledge and understanding of standard GD&T (geometric, dimensioning, and tolerances)
- Math skills to take precise measurements and make calculations
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective manufacturing plans based on customer specifications
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process
- Ability to move roughly 50 to 75 pounds and remain stationary throughout a shift
- Understanding of health and safety regulations to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
Salary will be commensurate with years of experience.
